Hi Chris, What an interesting idea for a show. As for departures, I’m sure we all can remember when we heard that someone we listened to has passed away—it’s like a piece of your childhood dies with them.

I’m pretty sure that Brand X was heard frequently on CKCU during my high-school / university days. Instrumental jazz—helped me to stay focussed. I just LOVED Pale Mal—a really happy song!
