Chance meeting on a yacht of a log and a mess. Happy new year and welcome to the first episode of Chance Meeting for 2022! Happy 74th birthday to Kenny Loggins, who was known as the "King of the Movie Soundtrack" for his work on A Star Is Born, Caddyshack, Footloose and Top Gun. Prior, Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina were prolific producers of easy listening pop and country rock from 1971-77. Most of it can stay there, however each album contains one excellent - and extended - song of interest, where the band gets out there. Here is an alternate universe "Loggins & Messina Greatest Hits", where these 10 minute cuts delve into jazz, prog, psych, and heavy rock.
