In My Good Books
Tuesday September 7th, 2021 with Pat Moore
Feature Story - Down by the Spring by South Frontenac writer John Moore
If you were listening last week, then you already know that this is the 2nd last episode of In My Good Books, a brainchild of mine to help you through the pandemic days. I hope you have been enjoying the show. Hopefully we are facing a new reality with fewer worries – though I recognize our worries are not gone. However, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to find material to read to you that is not covered by copyright, and it’s time for me to put more focus on other things, including the Saturday Morning Show where I happily continue to do my “once every four weekly” show.
Today I decided to play for you again, a story from South Frontenac writer John Moore, who yes, happens to be my brother. John has lived his adult life as a “back to the lander” in S. F. and is putting some of his wild stories to paper, and I’m putting them to audio. So we’ll begin with Down at the Spring. Then we’ll move on to a variety of great Canadian music choices. Enjoy!
