In My Good Books
Tuesday June 2nd, 2020 with Pat Moore
Join me as I read through a book – Still Life by Louise Penny. This is the first in her series of award winning detective novels featuring Armand Gamache, Chief Inspector of the Sureté du Quebec. It's fabulous!

You may recall last episode we ended off well into into Chapter 6. Gamache, Beauvoir, and Nicole are at the home of Peter Croft, wanting to talk to their son Philippe about the incident with the manure, and to get Croft and his wife to demonstrate the bows and arrows they own. They are now in the basement, which is something the Crofts were trying to avoid. They were looking for possibly the murder weapon, and we just about to give up when Beauvoir wandered over to the furnace. Once there he actually stepped on it. Sitting practically in plain sight was a recurve bow, and beside it an axe.
