As part of an ongoing film series, the Mexican Embassy and the Ottawa Public Library will be screening the film Eres Mi Pasion (You are my Passion). The film features Pedro who suffers from football fanaticism, so his love, family and work life are affected. Pedro realizes his problem and tries to stop being a soccerholic. The Shopify Black and Latinx Employee Resource Group are hosting a career internship open house for Black and Latinx students and professionals in the city. We are looking for people who care deeply about Engineering, Design, and Development to help shape how entrepreneurs around the world do business. Bloom: A Home to Call My Own, @Kind Space 222 Somerset st W. Bloom is a support and drop in young adult space for Queer and Trans folks ages 18-29, that focuses on holding space that is intentional. Bloom is dedicated on creating a safe environment to carry conversations around trauma, violence, harm and resilience. This concert is part of the commemorative events to celebrate Mexico’s National month, as well as the 75th Anniversary of the Canada – Mexico bilateral relations, and will be attended by many distinguished guests.
