Happy Black History Month / Happy Winter Pride!

In the spirit of Winter Pride and Black History Month, we will be sharing some queer and trans histories in Canada while discussing current issues that continue to affect our communities. 39 years after "Operation Soap" we ask: How far have we come? What is wrong with rights? Why is it imperative that we remain critical? As usual, we will be giving you info for all the amazing events happening this month in celebration of Winter Pride and Black History!!! You're making some pretty huge assumptions that are not based on fact. I dislike that my community radio is being used for fairly radical speech that does not reflect reality.

Hey Bob! We think that community radio is a great place to share thoughts and beliefs that would otherwise be overlooked by other more mainstream sources of news. We welcome all critique but hope that you can understand that we are here to appeal to those who continue to face hardship in our community at the hands of those who are supposed to be protecting them. Thanks for listening!
