- Jan 27 930pm-11pm @ 340 Maclaren st: Get Into The Groove-A Dive Into Musicality with Saffron St.James. A workshop where students will perform a listening/movement exercise, breaking down a piece of music instrument by instrument to gain a better understanding of how the pieces fit together to create a more impactful movement. Saffron is a burlesque dancer, so this would be focused in this art of dance.

This is a beginner-level workshop for those with an active interest in BDSM. We will discuss some terms and definitions, communication and negotiating boundaries, safety and safe-words. We will also talk about toys for sensation play, floggers and other spanky stuff, basic knot tying and rope safety, as well as using common household items in new and kinky ways.

Weather and Ice permitting we will meet at the Rideau Locks Change Cabin. If the canal is closed at Rideau St Locks we will meet at the Fifth Ave Change Cabin

Sunday Feb 10: Winter Pride Parade
We invite the LGBTQ2 + community and its allies to brave the cold and come out to the streets for the Capital Pride March. We are both commemorating and celebrating the partial decriminalization of homosexual acts in Canada, while also continuing the fight for full equality on various issues in Canada and around the world. Please join us on the hill starting at 12:00 PM. The market will start at 12:30 PM, concluding at Bank St. and Sparks St. at 1:30 PM.
