Kael Reid and Collaborative Ethnographic Songwriting

After a successful career as a singer-songwriter, Kael Reid transitioned into a PhD in education. Their latest work involves working with non-professional folks to create songs. We talk about it, and then bring in three newcomer children who Kael wrote songs with. NOTE: Kael's child collaborators are identified by pseudonyms to protect their privacy.
