A few things regarding the Caleb Abbot interview: "The process is meant to be inclusive" Selections based on "Including but not necessarily determined by the public engagement portion." "Benefit both the artists and the audience" These are statements that should have been included in the initial messaging about the program. I'm happy to see that they've decided to increase the amount of artists from 20 to 25 but I wish it was higher. I don't see why it has to be that small if they want to provide as much opportunity as he's saying. Maybe it's a funding thing, who knows. Thanks Kristine for directly addressing the concern of artists reluctance to "tweet for votes". It was good to hear him say "This is not a popularity contest" and acknowledging that the messaging could have been better.

Thanks for doing the interview...a good initiative by the city, but a bit disorganized, I think. Where are the actual 20 second submissions? Links to artist websites are good, but it would have been nice to hear the actual (proposed) telephone music.
