Thank you to everyone who donated during our recent Funding Drive, or, as I call it, our unofficial ratings period. You have helped to keep WTMW and CKCU's shows on the air for one more year. CKCU icon Ron Sweetman has passed aswy, and we will be paying some homage to him and his sharing his love of jazz. November 11 will mark the 100th anniversary of the armistice; we will present some music from the First World War.

Shelley & Kim I remember every Wednesday night I used to speak to Ron Sweetman on the phone from the on air studio of CKCU back when the old Mc Curdie board was in use at that time he would simply say Hello Fm instead of CKCU but only 2 to 3 minutes we would have a quick chat on the phone & that was it
