| Greg Werthman grew up in the music business. His father, Fred Werthman,
was a popular folk singer in the Kingston area, who would regularly take him to gigs and invite him to play between sets. Greg started writing songs at age eleven and soon began to be interested in the recording process. In the late eighties, he attended the Columbia Academy of Recording Arts, and has been recording ever since. Greg now owns and operates Meadow Lane Studio in Ottawa, Canada, which he built over the last three years with the vision of providing even the poorest musician an opportunity to record in a quality studio. Greg's debut CD Rock City, recorded at Meadow Lane Studio, was released in 2008-2009. He has a catalogue of over 170 original songs across a range of genres including rock, blues, ballads, country, pop, folk, children's and novelty songs. |
