JAIoftheRise, an enigma embodying the destined struggle to the top, breaks down all boundaries, expressing his emotions within music that tell his story. It’s undeniable to say that the neighbouring city of Toronto hasn’t influenced the Canadian born artist, you can catch glimpses of Toronto natives such as , , and within his music as he elegantly crafts a unique sound from his personal experiences and inner dilemmas. Along with embracing his home town of Ottawa and revitalizing a new sound for city, he’s worked with incredible city talents like , The LJ, Carde Blanche and others. JAI also infuses flavours from his mother’s native country, It’s no wonder why he is called the “City’s Savour”. JAIoftheRise is a rebellious outcast in his own lane and is unfazed by society’s views or perceptions of him.
Amiri was written in memory of late legend on his way back from Waterbury, Connecticut after opening for him and the Van Gogh Nighclub. City Fidelia - s/t Canadian New
Luigi Fidelia (March 10, 1990) known professionally as City Fidelia, is a Canadian rapper, community builder, and entrepreneur emerging from Ottawa, Ontario. Having performed at sold-out shows in North America, Asia, and Europe, City Fidelia often considers himself as an artist from a small city with big dreams. He has previously collaborated and gained recognition from artists like Malik Yusef of G.O.O.D Music, Timbaland and Vic Mensa.

Also known for his entrepreneurship, Fidelia founded the Real House Of Ensemble, which he along with partners Stan Lukoki, the head of the agency, Abe Abadi and his brother Jeff Sanon in 2020. He also started a program director position at the CHUO radio station in January 2021 and has provided jobs to a large number of BIPOC individuals in the city.

From the age of nine, Fidelia’s mother was a strong support for kids in their community by bailing them out of jail and providing a space for the young homeless to stay. Fidelia credits these actions for inspiring him to become a community builder with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Neha Sin - s/t Canadian New
When All is Said and Done
Neha Sin - Signs of Pink 'til Morning Canadian
Neha Sin is a local Ottawa musician with a warm, honey-folk sound. With four years of professional performance experience in venues, bars and coffee shops, she has created a name and presence for herself in Ottawa’s musical scene. Neha Sin released her Debut EP, Signs of Pink ‘til Morning in November of 2018. Her sound is influenced by the pared down, hazy acoustics of Bob Dylan, Phoebe Bridgers, and Passenger. She finds lyrical inspiration in the contemporary folk verses of The Lumineers, Dan Griffin, and Kacey Musgraves. In her work, the attention Neha Sin pays to experience is unbiased – the smallest of scenes and the grandest of emotions are depicted with the same tender respect. She is a modern folk storyteller, combining silky reverb with tales of nature and mixed-bag love affairs. Her verse focuses on the transitional. How do twenty-somethings move nowadays? Where are they going, who are they leaving, and what do they yearn towards? Neha Sin exists in the liminal space of morning light as she suggests both questions and answers. She floats between places and spaces and chords. Neha Sin sings with all the tender, nostalgic cling of warm honey.

Here's to the Women
Mimi O'Bonsawin - s/t Canadian New
Mimi O’Bonsawin is a contemporary roots singer-songwriter from Northeastern Ontario. Through her rhythm and story-driven songs, Mimi embraces the beauty of the land, all the while yielding to her Franco-Ontarian and Abenaki roots. You will find sounds from the forest, uplifting melodies, and introspective lyrics weaved with pop sensitivities and acoustic instruments in her music. The layers of percussion and surprising harmonies make you feel the music rather than just hear it.

John Ian - Good Luck, Good Night Canadian
Raw. Unpolished. Real.

In his intense, poetic and heartfelt songs inspired by folk, rock and alternative music John Ian tells stories, observes and ponders. Things may at times look somber in his songs but never hopeless. Despite the sadness and the madness in this world there always is a way out of the darkness into the light.

Simple handmade music, strong lyrics. Listen closely!
