By the warmth of the wood stove, with a view of snow and trees out the window, an organic sound is emerging. This will not be a perfect album. It's being recorded mostly live off the floor, with no click track or autotune. And yet, for an album such as this, a little grit is appropriate. If You've Given up on Love then Let's Call it Something Else is a collection of alternative love songs, that is, songs about alternative love.
