| At just 23, Vancouver-based Juno-nominated artist/producer Nathan Chu has had an incredible career in music. Under the artist name Inja, Nathan was nominated for a 2021 Juno Award in the Dance Recording of the Year category alongside artists like Kaytranada and Felix Cartel for the work he did on So Sus's "Voices" EP. Under his current artist moniker, Wayfie, Nathan is producing for Matthew V (604 Records), has produced for Jessia (Republic Records), and has been featured as a singer-songwriter on Hahlweg's most popular releases. The infinitely talented artist is able to create and produce multiple styles of music, and has just released his third single of the year, "Call You Mine", an upbeat pop song about second chances on Friday, August 27 2021.
A multi-instrumentalist with a passion for poetry, Wayfie participated in a remix competition in high school, winning himself $5,000 towards his eventual music studies at the Nimbus School of Recording and Media. | Mazyn is an emerging hip hop artist from Ottawa, Canada. Mazyn started writing raps in his dorm room as an Egyptian international student as a form of coping with homesickness, anxiety, and college stress - which eventually turned into songs he began to share with the world under his previous artist name “Capé”. In the span of one year of releasing music, he earned a nomination for "Hip Hop Artist of the Year" award in Ottawa by Faces Magazine in 2019. He also became a part of Shifter Magazine’s Top 10 Ottawa rappers and Capcityhiphop’s Top 50 rappers in 2019.
However, it seems like making music in his second language (English) wasn’t enough for the young artist.
