We are just some kids who play indie-pop. Our songs are each their own catchy story, usually revolving around a character we see within ourselves or within our community. If you listen closely, you might find that you know this person too. We will always love to write about heartbreak in the most danceable way possible, we will always love tears and laughter and keyboards effects and arson.

The Canada Via Music Project (CVM) and Redleaf Music are throwing a party to celebrate a decade of live music aboard VIA Rail. For the last 10 years, VIA Rail has been quietly supporting Canadian musicians through their Artist on Board program, making it possible for musicians to travel this vast land in exchange for a peek inside their suitcase full of songs.
Music from the Red Bar Car celebrates a decade of Via Rail's on-board entertainment program. Join us for an evening of songs and stories, aptly named after the recreation car where passengers and musicians gather as they travel by rail between Montreal and Halifax. A musical sampler of sorts, the evening will feature three sets of Canadian troubadours - Tragedy Ann, Moonfruits and Dirty Sheep - who bring a unique approach to the roll and ruckus of performing on a train. Engaging storytellers and accomplished musicians, each act brings the audience along for the ride.
Proceeds from limited edition poster sales will raise funds for ArtsCan Circle, a charity dedicated to supporting the arts among Indigenous youth in northern communities

Caraluna is the new project of Jesse Thom & friends, based out of Salt Spring Island in BC, Canada.

Their sound is a folk sound that dazzles with well placed and timed horns, a warm sound that will definitely speak to fans of Beirut. “Trees of November” is about “uncovering a feeling of home in one’s life despite the inherent chaos and impermanence of human existence.”
