MACK & BEN is a groovy, smooth, harmonious, and heartfelt pop/soul group fronted by brother-sister duo Mackenzie and Ben Di Millo. Pulling together bits of influence from RnB, Pop, Soul, Folk, and everything else in between, this mixed bag of a band is fresh, fiery, and funky.

For this special National Arts Centre appearance, MACK & BEN will be performing as an intimate duo, with only a well travelled acoustic guitar, a bright red keyboard, and two beautifully complementary voices in tow. Their lush harmonies, lively and loving lyrics, and subtly intricate songwriting will shine brightly in this beautiful setting, as they take the audience on a musical adventure through times of growth, change, love, and (moderate) sibling rivalry.

JAZZ WEATHER!

Gypsy Muse play the Westboro Legion in the upstairs lounge on Sunday, July 28 from 7-9:30. Here’s how Ottawa Jazz Scene described one of the duo’s performances: “The music from their guitars fit together into a clean and consistent whole, graciously melodic and infectiously rhythmic.” Advance tickets ($10) available at the Legion's upstairs bar. At the door: $15.
Westboro Legion, 389-391 Richmond Road Ottawa ON

Justin Duhaime’s Gypsy Muse is Ottawa’s premier Gypsy Jazz/jazz manouche style band. Inspired by the legacy of legendary Sinti guitarist Django Reinhardt, the music is driven by swinging and grooving rhythm guitar which functions as a vehicle for improvisation. They combine an eclectic mix of high energy swing, latin grooves, virtuosic fast tempo tunes and luscious ballads. Find them at the confluence of the old and the new.
