http://www.markfossen.com/ From Mark - 4 years ago I uploaded a video of myself playing a cover of Alphaville’s Forever Young to YouTube in the hopes that it might help me secure a few wedding gigs that summer. It now has 500k+ views, and people recently started asking me if they could buy the audio somewhere on the world wide interwebs. So, I did a random digital release with zero promo and holy shit wouldn’t you know it...It’s sitting at #5 on the iTunes charts in Spain |

I'll Get Over You Melanie Brulée - Fires, Floods & Things We Leave Behind |
Monroe's Mandolin Mike Plume Band - Born by the Radio |
Melanie Brulée will release Fires, Floods & Things We Leave Behind on October 19.
This first single was released Aug. 17, 2018 “I grew up force-fed country music in my grandmother’s trailer on the St Lawrence river, so of course I rebelled against it,” she recalls. But her Sunday evenings with The Ole Fashion — and several trips to Nashville — reignited her interest in country music. And she’s spent most of her summer touring as a duo with the band’s pedal steel player, Kevin “The General” Neal. Always one for reinvention, she’s put together a new band including Jimmy Reid (Matthew Good, Blackie Jackett Jr), Kyle Teixeira and Adam Warner (Jill Barber, Royal Wood). While she was born in Cornwall and grew up in Canada, Brulée has also lived in France and Australia. She currently lives in Toronto but spends a lot of time songwriting in Nashville. She’s already opened for Kathleen Edwards; won a Stingray Music Rising Star Award, and joined Chicago’s Strategic Touring for US booking. https://youtu.be/jikuK6pvTgw |
