New York City native Emily Mure has journeyed from playing concert halls as a classically trained oboist to busking as a singer-songwriter on the streets of Ireland. Her new album, Worth, brings together all of her rich experiences as a musical traveler, spotlighting both her technical ability and gift for vulnerable, heartfelt songwriting.

Denny Welburn had this idea of doing an album of guitar instrumentals, with ten different guitarists doing ten different instrumentals. Just because it would be cool. We called it Ten Guitars. It took a little over six months to come together, with the involvement of guitarists (plus horn, keyboard, bass players and drummers) from Ottawa and all up and down the valley on both the Quebec and Ontario sides of the river. As the album neared completion and thought of how to market and distribute it came to the fore, the idea of making it a fundraiser for a charity started to emerge. Denny then remembered that music was an important element of memory care and suggested that maybe the Alzheimer Society would be a good charity to support. He quickly canvassed the musicians and all agreed it was a great idea. We contacted the local chapter of the Alzheimer Society and they were more than happy to support it. So this album is officially a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society and they have given us the permission to put the following statement on the CD cover and online.

All proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated to:
