We speak with Benj Rowland of Mayhemingways at around 7:40 am. They have a new album out and they'll be at Irene's Pub on Saturday May 14th

May 14 they are at Irene’s Pub here in Ottawa. Show starts at 9pm and Ali McCormick is opening for them.

Benj Rowland switches between accordion, banjo, guitar, and tenor guitar while holding down the bass with foot pedals. Josh Fewings plays drums, percussion and adds back-up vocals.

The Pittsburgh-based punk band released their latest album, American Spring, last May, and they’re heading back to Canada for a run of dates this month and next. They’ll be in Ottawa on May 13th at Ritual.
