100% Possible: Canadians to March for a Future that is 100% Clean by 2050:
On the eve of the UN Climate Summit in Paris, thousands of
Canadians will march to Parliament Hill to urge the new government to take strong action on climate change and get Canada to 100% clean by 2050.
A diverse coalition has come together for 100% Possible: Marching for Climate Solutions and Justice. The Ottawa event will take place as millions march in over 1700 cities around the World.
Marchers will be encouraged to wear green, dress up, make banners, or build renewable energy floats.
The march will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 29th at Ottawa City Hall and will end on Parliament Hill.

Folkrum will bring together local musicians, audiences, and community groups for a 3-day musical showcase from Friday November 27 to Sunday November 29. The event will showcase a variety of local talent and activities to suit all age groups and tastes, including:

• Harea Band
• Chantal Hackett and Singhouse Studios
• Capital Strings Collective
• Suzuki Music Kids
• Jack Pine
• Kristine St. Pierre
In addition to a full range of musical programming—from pop, folk, blues and roots to jazz, world, and classical—Folkrum will also host a range of creative and participatory activities for music lovers, local youth, seniors, and other community groups.
Day time programming will be free until 7 p.m. Only 100 seats are available for evening performances. Tickets are $20 per night, available online or at the door if tickets remain. The full schedule and tickets are available at www.folkrum.com.
