Wolf People! Andrew Downing/Petr Cancura/Roddy Ellias! Heads!!
Starting out with the Merry Mack set, and then some hard rock, into some jazz, then back to prime stoner material!
| Starting with the Merry Mack set, starting with experimental-guitarist-of-note, Fred Frith, and a track 'composed' in 2008 and dedicated to Daevid Allen. After that the female voices of two of my favourite prog bands and their solo LPs: Stella Vander (from Magma)'s LP 'D'epreuves d'amour' and Gong's Gilli Smyth's 'I Am Your Egg'. Finishing the set with another experimental-guitarist-of-note, Loren Connors, and his collaboration with Suzanne Langille, and then a Circle side-project 'Pharaoh Overlords'! |

| It was a quick transition to the jazz section - time's running short! This is a new local release a collaboration by some heavies on the local jazz scene... but it's on the outer-edge of jazz, definitely a worthy release, local but world-class! |
