Alas, I had to chop out some tunes in the show so that we could hear the entire final feature, making for an awkward stylistic leap - from jazz/fusion to psychedelic folk (if, indeed, that's what it is...), but it will be worth it. With thanks to the inestimable Bruce McEwen for favouring the Nightwatch with these songs, we have a chance to sample Julian Cope's latest. My favourite, the final track, rival's Arlo Guthrie's storytelling on 'Alice's Restaurant', albeit desperately drunk. Enjoy, and another Nightwatch will be rolling over the air/internet in 2 weeks' time!
