Nymph! Residual Echoes!

Glad to be at the helm of the Nightwatch - a good consolation for having the Hawkwind show in Toronto cancelled! I was going to be away from the Nightwatch for that event; many thanks to Mark Keill of Infinite Ceiling for promising to do the show - I may call on you again!
Starting the show on a sad note - Hawkwind's tour of North America has been postponed because of health problems. Main mind Dave Brock has been having some issues, and we here at the Nightwatch are sending thoughts of good health over the aether to him.
Assault & Battery/Golden Void
Hawkwind - Warrior On The Edge Of Time
London Town Girl
Epitaph - S/T
Gypsy
Uriah Heep - S/T
Dance The Mutation
Simply Saucer - Cyborgs Revisited Canadian
Had to mix the Epitaph and Uriah Heep numbers - they were too similar to not give it a try. Now on to Feature #1 - a new LP by Residual Echoes, a great L.A. neo-psych/punk band, and their 10th anniversary release.
A Marriage
Residual Echoes - Middle Path New
Might as well follow up one 'Feature' with another - a side from the second and latest LP by Brooklyn psychsters 'Nymph' and the LP 'New Millenium Prayer'.
Beyond Battle Funk
Nymph - New Millenium Prayer New
Raag Mon
Nymph - New Millenium Prayer New
From Nymph to a forgotten still-active Canadian band - GUH, and their 1999 LP 'We Are Sunburning'.
Mango
GUH - We Are Sunburning Canadian
Patron Bentley
GUH - We Are Sunburning Canadian
Shickendance
GUH - We Are Sunburning Canadian
I had promised last Nightwatch that you would be hearing more from the Swans' 'Swans Are Dead' 2xCD, and I'm as good as my word: this time we'll hear a cut from the 'Final Tour 1997' CD - sorry, not two, time's tight!.
Feel Happiness
Swans - Swans are Dead
New York Girls
Angels of Light - How I Loved You
Now an abrupt 180-turn from the doom-folk and post-punk... let there be no confusion, this is a profusion of fusion! RIP George Duke, earlier this year.
I C'n Hear That
George Duke - Liberated Fantasies - 1976
Nuclear Blast
Brand X - S/T - 1975
Part II - Venusian Summer
Lenny White - Venusian Summer - 1976
Water Rhythms
Aptmospheres - Voyages to Uranus - 1974
Finshed that set with one of my favourite new puchases (the rest of the Aptmospheres LP is as amazing, and now we're finishing with a full-LP listen to an unlikely 'fusion' contender - Canadian band FM - their 1st release was a 2-side-long-cuts LP, and reflects more fusion/improv/prog than in any of their later LPs.
