Spotlight on Eric Woolfson's concept album "Freudiana"
Some folks have the day off, some don't. Either way, today's show was meant to provide a little bit of a bunch of stuff to everyone just to add some fun to this breezy Monday afternoon. Starting with a quartet of songs off compilations, I sent straight into an extended set from the Freudian theme album "Freudiana" by Alan Parsons Project alumni Eric Woolfson (yes, I remembered to bring in the CD today and have made a full-fledged spotlight out of the album because of the empty-case oopsy last week). Then, one of the great things about The Dollar Bin is it knows no genre boundaries and I took advantage of that for the third set. The show wrapped up with the infinite awesome that is Laika & The Cosmonauts just to give that extra dose of energy to get through the rest of the day.
