The album opens with the much publicised “Kyun Rabba”, composed by Amaal Mallik and sung by Armaan Malik. Replete with the sound of drums, tabla and dholak, this is the most filmy song on the album which is not a bad thing as it makes an impression with the very first listening. The track does not really break any new ground but is engaging. Kumaar is in familiar terrain here as his lyrics are a mix of Hindi and Punjabi words. This one is an instant party hit and you want to hit the dance floors while it is on. Tony Kakkar pairs up with Neha Kakkar for this song and also writes lyrics along with Mellow D with Young Desi stepping in for the rap portion, which actually works for this number. In the same mould as the kind of dance numbers that were last seen in Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, this is a winner. 03-COCA COLA TU CD MISC-20190797TRACK#03 3:31 LUKA CHHUPPI-2019; TONY KAKKAR, NEHA KAKKAR; TANISHK BAGCHI; TONY KAKKAR, MELLOW D. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQUgMWie0aQ नंबर 8 : मणिकर्णिका- द क्वीन ऑफ झांसी बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन : 94.92 करोड़ रुपये रिजल्ट : फ्लॉप नायिका प्रधान होने के बावजूद इस फिल्म ने अच्छा-खासा बिज़नेस किया, लेकिन फिल्म की महंगी लागत के कारण यह नुकसान का सौदा साबित हुई, हालांकि यह नुकसान बहुत बड़ा नहीं रहा। The music of Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi is in line with what the film's subject and narrative warranted. Though one doesn't foresee any chartbusters here, the songs did well to aid the film's narrative. For the first time in the soundtrack a female voice is heard, what with Pratibha Singh Baghel coming behind the mike for 'Rajaji'. A romantic number that should play between Manikarnika and her beau, this one has a sweet sound to it and brings on some light moments on screen. Pratibha does well as the voice of Kangana and she is joined by Ravi Mishra who arrives in the later part of the song. Yet again, one can't expect the song to emerge as a chartbuster here but fits in well into the film's narrative. 04-RAJAJI CD MISC-20190707 TRACK#04 3:18 MANIKARNIKA-THE QUEEN OF JHANSI-2019; PRATIBHA SINGH BAGHEL, RAVI MISHRA; SHANKAR-EHSAAN-LOY; PRASOON JOSHI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5w5WP3FJb6g नंबर 7 : दे दे प्यार दे बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन : 102.40 करोड़ रुपये रिजल्ट : औसत अजय देवगन अभिनीत इस फिल्म को सराहना तो खूब मिली, लेकिन कलेक्शन उतने नहीं रहे जितनी कि उम्मीद थी। बॉक्स ऑफिस पर इस फिल्म ने लागत वसूली और बहुत ही कम मुनाफा कमाया। The music of De De Pyaar De by and large ends up working quite well with most of the soundtrack actually keeping you pretty much engaged and entertaining. Be it a couple of party numbers or the love songs, they fit in well into the film's narrative as well, hence lending an overall good experience. The smashing drop beats of the fun song Hauli Hauli has already resonated with party-going listeners. And that’s why the song is making its debut this week in the Mirchi Top 20 charts. Singer duo Garry Sandhu and Neha Kakkar absolutely nail this Tanishk Bagchi track. The composer sure knows the pulse of the audience. Mellow D’s additional lyrics and rap add to the song. 05-HAULI HAULI CD MISC-20170707 TRACK#05 3:27 DE DE PYAAR DE DE-2019; GARRY SANDHU, NEHA KAKKAR; TANISHK BAGCHI; TANISHK BAGCHI, GARRY SANDHU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q_h1qeUcCE नंबर 6 : गली बॉय बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन : 139.38 करोड़ रुपये रिजल्ट : सेमी हिट रणवीर सिंह अभिनीत रैप सिंगर्स और उनके जीवन पर आधारित थी। इस फिल्म को बड़े शहरों में खासा पसंद किया गया। If one has to define the music of Gully Boy in one word, it would be 'trippy'. There has been no precedence of such a soundtrack in Bollywood before and it could well turn out to be a trendsetter if expected by the audience. An experimental score, this one has a few songs in there which are chartbusters in the making. Amkur Tiwari produced and Spitfire composed and written 'Asli Hip Hop' is already a riot for the manner in which Ranveer goes about rendering this one. A hit amongst those who love the underbelly of rap, this is followed by Divine, Naezy and Sez on the Beat's 'Mere Gully Mein' which takes the whole excitement to the next level. Tanishk Bagchi brings in 60s style music for 'Sanu Kehndi'. Set in a retro mode, this one written by Kumaar has a good vintage feel to it in every department, be it composition or lyrics. Moreover, with audiences appreciating the film, there is further recall on the cards for the music that would only make it further popular. This one is a mood booster. It is a retro beginning for Total Dhamaal as Laxmikant-Pyaarelal, Anand Bakshi and Kishore Kumar's 'Paisa Yeh Paisa'is recreated by Gourov-Roshin and lyricist Kunwar Juneja. The good part about this recreation is that the core essence of the song has been kept intact right from the 'mukhda' to the 'antara'. While Dev Negi and Subhro Ganguly do well to keep the playful element on, it is Arpita Chakraborty's vocals in the 'antara' portions that really elevate the song further. Though not all songs would end up finding a place in the charts, at least a couple of these are set to be huge in time to come. Irshad Kamil written song that fits in well into the Bollywood scheme of things, something that reminds one of many such compositions that one has experienced in a Yash Raj or Dharma film at the kick-start of the millennium. The style works in 2019 as well with Sachet-Parampara not just composing 'Mere Sohneya' but also rendering this one. 09-MERE SOHNEYA CD MISC-20190707 TRACK#09 3:12 KABIR SINGH-2019; SACHET TANDON, PARAMPARA THAKUR; SACHET-PARAMPARA; IRSHAD KAMIL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W2Qm_n7GGQ नंबर 2 : भारत बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन : 209.36 करोड़ रुपये रिजल्ट : औसत सलमान खान की यह फिल्म मुनाफे का सौदा तो रही, लेकिन मजा नहीं आया। सलमान जैसा सितारा हो तो फिल्म को 300 करोड़ के ऊपर निकलना चाहिए, लेकिन इस फिल्म ने दर्शकों को निराश किया। One had terrific expectations from Bharat though the music here doesn't turn out to be the kind that was heard in earlier Vishal-Shekhar-Salman Khan-Irshad Kamil-Ali Abbas Zafar collaboration like Tiger Zinda Hai. A couple of songs do make an impact though and for the rest one waits to see how they are integrated into the film. First to arrive is 'Slow Motion' and the song is anything but slow motion at play here. A fast paced number that is just the kind which goes with Salman Khan's image, it reminds one of the kind of numbers that were heard in his earlier films like Ready and Bodyguard. Nakash Aziz gets the 'sur' right when it comes to singing for a Salman Khan number and Shreya Ghoshal is a surprise choice as a situation like this could well have been a ready stage for Neha Kakkar to step in. The aggression of a war film is present, yet, the heart-touching emotions are not compromised with by the composer, and that is why it sounds nothing like the run-of-the-mill music we’ve got to hear in earlier Bollywood’s war movies. Uri’s crisp music takes us into a new sonic universe of original music, that touches you to the core. The slow-tempo, melancholic melody of 'Behe Chala', penned by Raj Shekhar and sung by Yaseer Desai and Shashwat is like a breezy breath of fresh air. Shashwat’s decision to keep the soundscape flab-free lends pristine beauty to this number.
