Good Morning!

I have a question for Lawrence if there is time: I remember watching coverage of the Oka Crisis in bewilderment. I couldn’t understand how native land could be seized ever, let alone to build a golf course. Nor could I understand why the RCMP were sent to assist. Were they the ‘bad guys’? How could this be happening in Canada? How could there be a death on each side? How does the situation in Oka compare with the situation in Wet'suwet'en? Isn’t the pipeline much more dangerous than the proposed golf course?

El condor pasa: a man gets tied up to the ground.....that is a white man’s big delusion isn’t it? We have to ‘own’ land rather than take care of it.
