Oh ya.. I remember back in the days.... This weekend would be planned for weeks. Shoes, gear, hair cuts and plans with the boys! So much fun. I remember stopping at gas stations on the 401 and they were full up ah Black people.. it was an awesome mecca to TO. "Playing With Those Memories Again" :-)

Tavern on the Island (Bate Island)
The NCC introduced a new outdoor eatery on Bate Island, located along the Ottawa River. The Tavern opened July 27 and offers an assortment of food and beverages, along with a 180-degree view of the region’s landscape. Rhythm Culture Fest (B-haven), and Jamday (Rideau HS), happening on the same day - August 10th. ......but it's nice that Rhythm Culture will go on for a 2nd day, (Aug 11th) in case folks want to attend both events. 👍 --------- Loving the smooth silky R&B tunes, Emperor O'Shea!! 🎶

Wow.. that is cool! One of the reasons why I love driving and riding around. You discover things you otherwise might not. As Royal Caribbean says..." Get Out There". I love Bate Island... I stop there often and enjoy the scenery. I hoped to have something for you all for the 20th Anniversary but life... my plans were derailed. Still hoping to do something but will let you know. Maybe a new place like Bate Island was back 10 years ago. And here we go again.. "Playing With Those Memories Again". What?!?!?!?!?
