As we approach the 19th anniversary of Vintage Love... it really is humbling. I remember conceiving of this show.. I remember coming to the name... I remember the call from CKCU... saying we reviewed your submission... now lets make it. The anticipation, excitement, fear, nervousness of the very first show. Such an amazing journey and it is with all thanks to you CKCU for taking a chance on me... with no real experience. Wow! What a gift. I cannot imagine not having done Vintage Love in this lifetime. It is such a part of me now. And of course to the many... some who have come and gone.. who have supported the show, donated to keep it alive during the Funding Drives... called friends to tell them to tune in... the people who have stopped me in the streets to say thank you for doing such a show and to the many more who I have not met and may never.... but we are HERE! I do this for you, for me... for us. Out of love. Who could cope... without it. So we do our best to spread real true love to the world. This is Vintage Love and this is the 19th year we have been blessed enough to keep the love alive... through music. Thank you!

Happy Anniversary Vintage Love family! I actually remember listening to the very first show and am amazed to see how this movement grew and even spawned another show “After Hours”! I still listen on demand at times. Vintage Love has meant so much to me and my family and has created opportunities to share my love for great music and be proud of my Jamaican culture. Thank you, O’Shea for bringing your all and thoughtfully producing each and every show week after week and year after year! Simply put: You are good at what you do. You love what you do. And it shows! Much love always. I love that you give me credit for having a tiny influence and planting an encouraging seed! Can’t wait to see what the years to come will bring/ Lord-willing! 💕

2 FFD1... thank u 4 all of the support over the years & especially b4 the "count" began. It was more than a seed... it was true straight encouragement. The seed was already there & growing but it was being stifled by the comments of others... I think given in love but these comments were the 1's that can kill dreams. How r u going to get enough music 2 do this show? What about your Saturday nights... how will u b able 2 take out a special lady on a date if u are doing the show late on Sat. nights? What about travel & vacations & time away? What if u get sick? All relevant questions & all things that people said 2 me when I hinted at what I was planning. These comments did slow me down & may b if I allowed them... Vintage Love may never have come 2 pass. But here we r & your voice was THE ONLY 1 that said.... disregard all of that... follow your dream.. trust in Jah & step out into the dark.. He will light the way. & those encouraging words & support may have thwarted my own doubts & hesitations. I cannot imagine never having done this, even if it ended 2day. I did it... we did it & I am proud of this little show & hope we have affected people in a positive way. Thank u 4 steering me away from the fear & towards the light.... the light of dreams sought & attained. Vintage Love lives because of many people but the first... was u. Thank u & I hope 2 keep Vintage Love alive & a blessing as long as I can. I have made many mistakes in this life & have gone down wrong roads due 2 hesitation & fear... it has cost me DEARLY but hopefully on judgment day, this little thing will give me a chance, 4 what we've done here. U never no who u r touching & affecting & I hope even if I never meet these folks or hear these stories.... I hope these 2hrs each week put some true positive God blessed love.. not just empty words of love, back into the world & 2 whomever finds us & needs a love injection. As the show starts, I here end: Who could cope... without LOVE! THANK YOU!
