On tonight's show, music for the birthdays and also music to celebrate life and say... goodbye. Starting first though with the usual... an instrumental to get you in the groove with Simplicity People followed by a few conscious tunes by our own Garnet Challenger and great song called "Take It To Jah" by Lucky Dube and George Nooks ending off that first set with "Love Lifted Me". Immediately following came the birthday greetings for tonight. Happy Birthday Mr. B and Happy Birthday to Coron who will be celebrating his 11th on Monday. A bit of a country pace for the first while in the show tonight. Featuring, Tarrus Riley, Lisa May, Eddie Lovette, Judy Boucher and Sonia Collymore. Following this country spell, we broke for the weather with music from Michael Jackson & Donny Hathaway. We then moved into a set of music for the Leeloy's and the Burton's whose families lost loved ones this week. My condolences to all. Musically, we paid tribute with some Linda Ronstadt, Sanchez and Rochelle. Quickly the night goes as following this we only had time for two more tracks.... Ghost, who had a wicked performance at Buju's concert last Saturday night. Anyway, we heard "By Your Side", covering some Sade Adu and Christopher Martin with a song I love, "Come Back".
