Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you for tuning into Vintage Love tonight. Since this is the last show before Valentines Day arrives on Thursday, Feb. 14th, I thought I would take this opportunity and this evening to focus on a theme called, Positive Love. Only love songs where we are expressing thanks, appreciation and love to one another (ladies and gents), for bringing that special something to our lives that words really cannot express or tell. BUT... we try to do this tonight through song on VL. Featuring some of the heavy weights in Reggae music.. some still with us and some who left us with sooo many songs to dance to.. to romance to and to sing along with. "The Ever Elusive 1", featuring Jamelody with "Ribbon In The Sky", Prince Malachi with "Lady May I", and the Late Great Sugar Minott with "My Love Is True", We also heard one of the many sweet love songs from Bob Marley & The Wailers.. tonight we dusted off, "Stir It Up" for you here on 93.1FM. June Lodge requesting a night for just the two us... with "Stay In Tonight" and one of my favorite songs of all time, the lovely Nadine Sutherland with.. wow.. what a classic chune; "I will be loving you until the sun stops shining"... wha... music.. how could you cope.. without it?!?!? Yes, "Until" by Nadine. and we ended the show with another legend.. Mr. John Holt with, "Just The Way You Are" as he covers Billy Joels hit song from 1977, A night of love here on Vintage Love (what Sat. night isnt).. but this time... all music professing true love, thanks and joy in love as we barrel towards Feb. 14th.
