Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. :-)
Thankful for so much this year.... Thank God for tangible things like a roof over my head, food in the cupboard and fridge. A car to get me from here to there and back again and a job to help pay for it all. And the more intangible things... a chance each day to do better and be better. The love and attention of true friends... health and so much more. Oh ya.. I got a new bike too!! ;-) I cannot go without saying... thank you to you all for keeping this Vintage Love thing going.
Some of you have been around since day 1 back in 2004 and some of you have come to enjoy Vintage Love more recently... no matter when you started, the fact that you keep coming back to CKCU on Sat. nights from 10pm - midnight.. is remarkable.. amazing and humbling all at the same time. I put lots of thought, effort, heart and soul into what goes out over the airwaves cuz ya never know who might be listening and I want only positive, loving vibes to prick ones ears and infect them with a healthy high of great memories.. great loves and happy nights and days. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to play music for you. if you want this "date - night" of ours to continue each Saturday night, this year more than any.. it is imperative that you, the VL Nation stand for the show. I hope you can put aside something (financial somethings) ;-) to help us continue to be there for you. Silence... at least in this case... will be deadly. I wish to continue with VL but it is not up to me.. it truly is up to you.
i hope to hear from you starting in a few weeks time on Oct. 19th through to Nov. 4th.
I hate beggin' for money so please dont make me. hahahha :-) Anyway, my love to you in thanks for all that you have done for CKCU and for this little show that could...... the Award-Winning Vintage Love show. Even if this is the last year of the VL show... there is no diminishing my love and respect for keeping us here for these almost 15yrs.
