Mid-August... the dreadful beginning of Back-To-School commercials.. oh my mom would laugh at me back in the day as these adds put me in such a mood. "Summer is over already?!?!?" "NNNNNnnnnnooooooooooooooooooo!!" :-) But each day passes to the next until the hour glass of time runs out of sand...
Anyway, another episode of Vintage Love in the books... including artists such as: Prince Malachi... love that song "Lady May I". Also, Gem Myers, the multi Juno award winning Exco Levi, Sanchez, Busy Signal and Pat Kelly with a lovely version of "Twelfth Of Never". During the weather interlude, we heard some Bob Seger, Nat "King" Cole and the Johnny Mathis version of "Twelfth Of Never". So many versions of that song... which many are soooo good.. how do you choose just one? ;-)
We also had a request for some Louisa Mark and some Tarrus Riley with his biggest song to date, the everlasting, :She's Royal". Not to mention a little gospel thrown in with Joseph Niles and a great little tune, "No Other Help".
