This show is dedicated to the memory of our friend.... Rachel Exeter (1948 - 2017) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ..and no, I do not eat Lobster. Mind you these lobsters on the west coast were huge. Anyway... Tonights show included a celebration of Rachel Exeter who was a long time supporter and fan of Vintage Love and who was kind enough to invite me into her life and her home not living too far away from me in Barrhaven. Ahh.. the laughter. I have been reviewing emails that I had from her since I heard the sad news of her passing and they have brought back great memories that bring a smile to my face. It was a blessing to meet and to know you Rachel.. thank you for your friendship and your support over the years. In honour of Rachel, we played a set of music including Adele Harley, Juanita Squires, Sanchez and Rochelle. Condolences going out to Norma and the rest of the family, friends and others who were touched by Rachel while she was here. We also celebrated some birthdays... Birthday wishes going out to Kevin (VL Photographer), Nicole and Sharon (VL Team Member).. and of course to any of you celebrating... all the best to you as you celebrate.. looking back on the year and forward to the one to come. All the best! Tonight's show featuring artists such as: Jimmy Cliff, Romain Virgo by request, Beres Hammond with a mistaken double play (when your finger touches 2 buttons at once.. sigh) :-( Oh well... hopefully you enjoyed that "error".
