Congratulations to all of you who have just recently graduated from grade school, high school or post-secondary studies... it is the season! There are all sorts of great pics that I am seeing on Facebook.... Much to be proud of.
On a sad note, I could not go without saying my respects for one of the great Hip Hop artists of our time who passed away a few days ago on June 20th, 2017. Albert Johnson, whom you may know as Prodigy from the group Mobb Deep died as a result of complications due to Sickle Cell Anemia that he battled through his life. To young to be gone at 42. Respect to Prodigy and to Mobb Deep for the great music. In light of this I had to play some of MD's music on the show tonight and thus the instrumentals during VL tonight. Rest in peace Prodigy.
