Thank you for tuning into Vintage Love tonight. As promised on last weeks show, we pay tribute to the recently passed Paul Blake AKA as we know him, Frankie "Dancehall" Paul. We embark on this journey through Frankie's music due to his passing a few days ago on May 18th, 2017. There is no way, in one show that we could play all of his hits but we will touch on many between 10 and midnight tonight. Frankie Paul, born on October 19th, 1955, leaves us with many albums, many hits and many memories. With all respect... thank you Frankie for pursuing music and a big thanks to Stevie Wonder for encouraging him to do just that. Tonights show featuring (of course) Frankie Paul; we also had a request for a set of Pam Hall music, Sanchez... and how could I not have played this tune last week by Cynthia Schloss... Absolutely. Not only a singer either... piano, guitar, drums... this man was a serious talent that will be missed... I am truly thankful for all this great music that he made! (also thanks to Stevie for encouraging him to pursue music)

Respect and love to Paul Blake aka Frankie Paul. Thank you for the music, the memories and for following your dreams and in so doing.. blessing thousands upon thousands of people. Condolences to the family, friends and all of you fans (incl. me) around the world. Frankie.... you will be missed but we wish you the most of a peaceful rest. Thank you!
