Last call it is..... Too cold tonight to play anything but hot tunes. Beres sang Fire & Ice and I am hoping some fyah tonight will help to melt some and increase the temperature. Vintage Love tonight for you featuring Glen Washington, I-Octane, Phyllis Dillon (by request), Gyptian, Sanchez Tami Chynn and others. Happy Birthday Greetings going out to Graham from Andrew on the Interactive Menu and a big thank you to all who kept in touch via Facebook during the show... which took a turn at the end when a few listeners expressed the need to hear something positive to help bring them through a hard start to the year. So the show concluded with some tunes for those of us makin' it through tough days. Bob Marley & The Wailers to start off with "Three Little Birds' by request for a listener who needed to hear and sing out.. "dont' worry, about a thing.. cause every little things gonna be alright". Followed by Nato with his cover version of "Bad Day" and the lovely voice of Tessanne Chin covering Katy Perry's "Firework" with some positive lyrics to help lift spirits. And to end off the show, Natel covering some of the Cool Ruler Mr. Gregory Isaacs as I send my love to you all.. especially those enduring hard times. And this too shall pass my friends.... But no temps compare to Kingston, JA right now +26.. Bridgetown, Barbados also +26 and Port-of-Spain, TnT currently at 25 degrees. Dreaming of the sand and sea!! :-)
