History... we should be grateful to you. Tonight's show featuring a tribute to the recently passed Prince Buster. Prince Buster (Cecil B. Campbell), passed away a couple of days ago on Sept. 8th, 2016. Well known as one of the truly important artists with respect to Jamaican music and especially the genres of Ska and Rock Steady.. of which the 60's were the age of these great musics. Prince Buster was born in Kingston, Jamaica and passed away at the age of 78. So far, it is unclear as to the cause of Prince Busters death. So tonight we pay a small tribute to this man who meant and means so much to Jamaican music. Also, featured on tonights show, some Tyrone Taylor, Lukie D. (by request), Lord Creator, Johnny Orlando, Vic Taylor and Lorna Bennett. We would also like to take a moment to pass along birthday greetings to Vanessa and the Divine Brown... a great CDN artist and last but not least Beth B. who is the co-creator of Vintage Love show.
