For this week, not much to say... the title says it all. Enjoy your fathers while you have them to enjoy. Happy Fathers day to those Dads who took the time to tend to broken hearts, broken bones, cuts and scrapes... who encouraged, disciplined and cheered us on at our football games, school plays and our battles with that least liked subject in school. As well, to those men who played integral fatherly roles maybe not even being fathers themselves.... There are only a few words that convey lots but still not close to enough.... I like the Sandra Cross song as well. Lovely song! Nice of you to dedicate the Garnet Silk song to the families of the victims in the US. Such a loss! (Senseless tragedy).

Ya, I love that Sandra Cross tune.. its always on play at my house. :-) Yes, when I initially heard about the shooting... I just shook my head.. not even knowing what to say. Other than that unfortunately racism is obviously alive and well. So many things in this past year have exemplified that truth. When will we learn and be better?!?!

Well I hear and feel what you are saying... this is the first Fathers Day for me and my family without our Pops (Husband). So it will be kind of strange and my dad will be certainly missed tomorrow... as I am sure yours will be as well. Respect to the Dads who have come and gone.
