The Victoria Day long weekend version of the VL show for you tonight. No particular plans for the show tonight. Some big people chunes as well as a short tribute to The King, Mr. B.B. King that is... who passed away on Thursday. I love this mans music... for many many years. Sad to see him go but more happy to have grown up listening to him and Lucille. Thank you BB for accompanying me through the highs and the lows... unbeknownst to you. Your music held me.. through many dangers. Farewell... my friend.

CKCU moves into a new era this week as we say goodbye to the McCurdys and enter into the digital age. One of the reasons there may have been a few more glitches on this night... it is all getting used to a new board and new temporary digs as the on-air studio gets torn apart to accommodate the digital age. Bye Sandra (my own personal nickname... tribute to an X if you will) hahaha... anyway... Bye Sandra.. thank you for many more years than would have been imagined when you were new. AND... none of these upgrades could be done without the support of the listeners who financially support this show and the station with donations during the funding drive each year.
