After almost losing my life en route to the station for the show.. slip slidin' away, I really had fun just jugglin' tunes. A true classic piece of music from the album "Reckless" which (and I cant believe this) is celebrating 30 yrs. This record attained Gold status in Canada in 1985.. one of the great ballads of our time. I remember hearing this song for the first time... it just blew me away. If you'll remember, Saturday was a snow event all day. Nothing major but the accumulation slowly made the roads dangerous. On my way to the station.. I almost lost control of the car en route to the station.. twice. I am certain the snow got packed down and driven over so much it essentially was black ice. Well I hit a few patches of that on the way but I was able to get all under control and make it to the station.. albeit a few moments late but better late than in hospital or worse... thank God.
