Vintage Love on this night... the night of the rewind (part 90 or something like that) :-)
Etana's "Richest Girl".. which is on constant rewind on my system at home and in the car and on the bike and Lukie D and Jah Cure's renditions, respectively, of John Legends "All Of Me". A great song interpreted.. which in my opinion either reggae version is sweet and brings a new feel to an already great tune.
I hope you enjoyed Vintage Love this week and I thank you for all the calls, the busy interactive menu.. which is still busy even now and just for tuning in as well. Without you VL would be.. well who knows. So thank you for tuning in. Hopefully next time you will invite a friend to tune in as well.
To my friend Tahdre, stay strong man... and keep getting better. Hopefully I will see you and the other T's :-) soon. My prayers for a quick and complete recovery are with you 24/7.
If you are a fan of Vintage Love, I will be on the Rogers television show called "Daytime" on Friday October 3rd, 2014. So look out for me on TV (which will seem strange having cameras and I am only used to microphones) Anyway, hopefully you can tune into Daytime on Friday as well.
Song Of The Week: Etana - "Richest Girl" @ 52:36 of the show.
Loving all of you Vintage Love fans!

From the soon to be released album from Etana "I Rise", this single is tearing up the charts and tearing into your hearts here in GOA. Requested to be rewound I could not keep count of and I was happy to do it with such a unbelievable song. This is music... the production, the lyrics down to the saxophone solo at the end. This song from start to finish is... wow.. how can this music not put a smile on your face. Thank you, by the way, for all the calls, messages on the IM and emails to rewind this tune. I love it too. Etana for you here on Vintage Love. :-) |

Well... that was the Lukie D. version of John Legends "All Of Me" international smash hit. Someone did not believe that this version was not Jah Cure. So... and also due to an in studio request... this is Jah Cure following up the Lukie D. "All Of You" version of the same song...although Jah Cure left the title as is from the original. In any event... you requested to hear it again so THIS is the Jah Cure version for you on Vintage Love the Mighty 93.1FM. |

So I hope you were able to tune in. You requested the beautiful Alicia Keys and her big hit from her 2007 released album "As I Am".
