Hi Steve, Tuned in and doing ‘house stuff’ like making mashed potatoes and tidying up. That song Hearts In Her Eyes sounds vaguely familiar—did one of those British bands do a remake in the 80s? 90s? I know I’ve heard that on the radio.

Burning Ferns just messaged me from Wales and they say that is the first play in the world for their new song - many thanks!

I think the song Hearts In Her Eyes was originally by The Records

Shelley, hard to slip something by you... you're thinking of the version recorded by The Records, which is much better known, came out a year or so later...

It looks strange that the Searchers released their version before the Records but the Records wrote the song. Hadn't heard The Searchers version before. Also really enjoyed the Stones cover by Television.

ERRATUM: I implied that The Searchers (3rd song tonight) had misguidedly chosen their name, the same as the successful 60s band... in fact, it WAS that selfsame band. Sorry for the misinfo.
