Thank-you Remembering Nadine -- today is the second anniversary of the death of Nadine Gelineau, a dynamic woman who was a vital force as a radio announcer, radio station program manager and music industry prime mover in Ottawa and Gatineau, Montreal, Toronto, New York and Los Angeles.

I hope you don't think I'm being picky but I know you usually like to include that & it's a great cover. I was almost going to ask you where that was from when I realized I had that compilation.

Up early Sunday AM - 5.44 AM here and mention of Nadine recalls how she gave me THE call - a third of a century ago - to fill in for Jacques Emond on the Night Train - when I moved on from closed circuit onto the airwaves - and out into the ether...great show, Steve - motor city is burning, baby - recall friends in Windsor who said that they would look across the lake at night to watch the fires burning - and it is spooky that your first full song was by Free - the nearest thing we had to a local band that had made it when I was in high school...,
