Frank Koller drops by with an update for the Space Cadets. Frank is getting back to his successful music career after a 30-year hiatus working as an CBC Radio foreign correspondent! His band, One More Last Chance, will perform on Wed. Aug. 1 at 8:00 pm at the One Up Pub (above the Royal Oak Pub, in New Edinburgh, at Beechwood Ave. and the Vanier Parkway -- no cover. The band consists of Nev Wells, Peggy White, Brian Ostrom, Randy Demmon, Michael Ball, Peter Beaudoin and Ken Kanwisher. Glenn Nuotio drops by to highlight some of the many amazing acts performing at Chamberfest and Chamberfringe this year (July 26 to August 9). Three of those acts call in to say "hi" and provide some updates: -- Kathryn Briggs and Terry Tufts perform with the Algonquin Ensemble at Chamberfringe on Thursday evening, August 2, presenting "Tom Thomson Voice Through Music". -- Sonic Escape (Shawn Wyckoff and Maria Millar) perform at Chamberfringe on Friday evening, August 3. They also perform a free family-oriented concert at Ottawa City Hall on Friday at 10 am. -- Karrnnel Sawitsky and The Fretless, a fiddle ensemble that won the 2017 Juno Award for Instrumental Album of the year, will perform two Chamberfringe shows on Sunday, July 29: 4:00 pm at the Tavern on the Hill in Major's Hill Park, and 10:00 pm at La Nouvelle Scène.
