Chris MacLean (www.chrismaclean.com) and The Sparrows, a choir of home schooled children ages 5 to 9, will perform in a family-friendly fundraiser for a South African orphanage at Southminster United Church on Saturday afternoon, June 14 at 3:30 pm. Garnet Rogers (www.garnetrogers.com) plays the Neat Café in Burnstown tonight at 8:00 pm on a bill with Natalia Zukerman (www.nataliazukerman.com). They both have excellent new CDs. And James Leclaire (www.jamesleclaire.com) will be in the studio to perform and chat. He celebrates his third album, "Of What is Left", at several concerts in the Ottawa area. You can also catch James on Dick Alta Vista's show on CKCU on Wed. June 11 at 1:30 pm.
