Fantastic selections as always Steve. Sitting with coffee listening to Dexter Gordon while looking at the blue skies over the Gatineau Hills, feeling pretty lucky and free

Excellent, Tim A. I think I will leave the studio for a minute and walk into the hallway and around the corner to take a look out the window!

Thanks for the Billie Holliday track, Steve. Vince Halfhide recently directed me to this video of her performing 'My Man Don't Love Me' on a CBS TV show in 1957. Vince drew my attention to the look of delight on Billie's face as various musicians were soloing:

Hi, hb; yeah, it's still there, it's not you. I suspect it's the "transmitter" (or such; maybe a weirded out transistor?) at Camp Fortune. Which is probably 'ruled', tech-wise, by CBC. Even though (let's assume) someone actually heard, read or transmitted Candace's alert about it end yesterday, I figure it's going to take perhaps days a) for the message to get through, and b) for the problem to be looked at. Meanwhile, I'm using the web; that rogue broadcast tone would drive me nuts. (Add-in the pirate with a ship's wheel joke)
