Welcome back to my version of the Saturday Morning Show - I hope you are well.
I had a lot of fun putting this show together - every one is a learning experience as I go through the exploring phase with the software I'm using to prepare the show from home.
I picked up some new CD's this month from the Smithsonian Folkways collections, and although the CD's haven't arrived yet, :( , I was able to capture a few songs from a few of the CD's I bought and am excited to share some with you, and anxiously awaiting the package delivery with those nice little CD boxes, liner notes, and of course the great music inside.
Hour 2 I've reserved for more "happy" songs from the list of your requests (and some of my own requests). Hour 3, you get to hear Lynn Miles beautiful new single release, We'll Look for Stars, and a couple of interviews (new learning curve for me), Michel Weatherall, local author and publisher, and John McDonald who writes for Apt613, an on-line music rag. There's a special little hidden track at the end of the show... only on the On Demand version.
