Interviews with Canadian composer Ian Cusson and with the founder and director of Debaser Rachel Weldon about upcoming concerts and Pique the Winter Edition

We open today's show in conversation with Ian Cusson. He is a composer of contemporary classical works, and his latest piece, 1Q84: Sinfonietta Metamoderna, was just released on a brand new album the the National Arts Centre called Poema 2: Terra Nova. Ian tells us how he got into composing music, how his Metis heritage plays into his work and how a science fiction novel inspired this newly recorded work. Rachel tells us the story of Beverly-Glenn Copeland who Debaser is presenting with his partner Elizabeth Copeland at the Bronson Centre on Friday night, December 5th. She also tells us all about the upcoming Pique Winter Edition, which is happening next Saturday, December 13th at Arts Court.
