Interviews with Peter Dreimanis (July Talk) about his project Peter Dreams and MOONRIIVR, Dan Mangan and Maureen Hogan of Ottawa's Good2Go

We open in conversation with Peter Dreimanis who you may be familiar with from his work as member of the band July Talk. For this solo album, he chose to work with the group MOORIIVR (Gavin Gardner and friends) and Peter tells us how they got together to create this album of cerebral, personal songs. Dan also talks about how being a father has impacted some of his songs. We dive into the themes he's exploring in these new songs and how they reflect a sense of hopefulness despite the difficult times we are living through. We also talk about how he recorded this album in a remote setting with his friends who are the members of his band. Dan and his amazing band will be appearing at the Bronson Centre on Saturday, October 11th, along with opening act Bells Larsen - so it's a stunning double bill. Maureen tells us how she originally got into music making with her bandmates 25 years ago, and how she has developed her show-stopping stage persona.
