Today we talk to Ellen Braun about her new album The Doldrums and her show at Red Bird LIve on Sunday, to Allan Chaaraoui of Lazzy Lung about appearing at Barnstorm on Saturday and to Bob Wiseman about his concert at Red Bird Live on Aug. 31st.

Over the years she has worked in groups and with other artists, so we talk about how it feels to finally produce and release an album of her songs. We also talk about working in the studio with Howard Bilerman and how someone from Canmore can have so many nautical references in the song Doldrums. We talk about what Bob has been up to over the years, teaching music, making music for films and creating albums of great songs - and how he has managed to create a life with music at the centre of it. He explains how his concert at Red Bird Live on Sunday, August 31 is called "Two Pianos, No Rodeo" because Bob will be appearing with Mike Boguski who is the long-standing keyboard player with Blue Rodeo. Bob Wiseman was the original keyboard player with Blue Rodeo and his performances with the band were mesmerizing as he frequently got lost in the music.
